April 2022 a week in Budapest and another in Vienna

The Budapest Spring Festival takes place yearly in April, offering concerts, art exhibitions, dance performances, operas, and the Hungarian Folk Dance Festival. We plan to be in Vienna when the schedule of opera, ballet, and concerts offers a wealth of performances by top-drawer artists. You might choose to extend your tour to include several days at the Prague Spring Festival as well. Of course, we will offer daytime in-city and out-of-city tours, and you can be sure of some exciting dining experiences.

August 2022: Swiss Festivals Tour

We plan to start in Geneva and end in Lucerne, exploring the rich variety of brilliant music in breathtaking, serene mountain scenery. The Sion Festival presents big name soloists and ensembles in venues around the Valais region. Sion also boasts the oldest playable pipe organ in the world, located at the fortified Basilica of Valère. We will have the opportunity to hear the 600-year-old instrument during the Sion International Ancient Organ Festival. The Menuhin Festival concerts are set in the gorgeous baroque village churches in the Alpine foothills near Gstaad, while the Lucerne Festival, a showcase for the world’s top symphony orchestras and conductors, takes place in the stunning KKH concert hall designed by Jean Nouvel.

November 2022

At this point, we are exploring the possibility of Cuba, during the annual Habana Clásica Festival. In addition to Havana, we plan to visit the Vinales Valley, Cienfuegos, and Trinidad, focusing on the history, architecture, art, and culture of this fascinating island nation.
